How to Prepare for Your Perfect Glow
Follow these simple steps before and after your spray tan to ensure the most flawless, long-lasting results possible.

Pre-Tan Checklist
Exfoliate
Exfoliate your entire body 24 hours before your appointment. Focus on dry areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and wrists. Use a physical scrub or exfoliating mitt — avoid oil-based scrubs.
Shave or Wax
Shave at least 12 hours before your tan. If waxing, do so at least 24-48 hours prior. This allows your pores to close and ensures an even application.
Skip the Moisturizer
Do not apply any lotions, oils, deodorant, perfume, or makeup on the day of your tan. These create barriers that can cause uneven color development.
Wear Loose, Dark Clothing
Bring loose, dark clothing to wear after your tan. Tight clothing can rub off the bronzer and create marks. A flowy dress or baggy sweats are perfect.
Remove Jewelry
Take off all jewelry, watches, and hair ties before your session. These can leave tan lines and interfere with an even application.

Wait Before Showering
Wait at least 8-10 hours before your first shower (or as directed). When you do shower, use lukewarm water and gently pat dry — don't scrub.
Moisturize Daily
Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle, oil-free moisturizer. Apply twice daily to extend the life of your tan. Well-moisturized skin holds color longer.
Avoid Water Activities
For the first 24 hours, avoid swimming, heavy sweating, and hot tubs. Chlorine and salt water will fade your tan prematurely.
Pat, Don't Rub
When drying off after showering, gently pat your skin with a towel instead of rubbing. This helps preserve your tan and prevents uneven fading.
Skip Harsh Products
Avoid products with AHAs, retinol, or exfoliating acids. These will strip your tan faster. Stick to gentle, sulfate-free body washes.
